API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector
The API 510 examination is designed to determine if individuals have a broad knowledge base relating to maintenance, inspection, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels.
API 570 – Piping Inspector
The API 570 examination is designed to determine if applicants have a broad knowledge base relating to maintenance, inspection, alteration and repair of in-service metallic piping systems.
API 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector
The API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector must have a broad knowledge base relating to tank inspection and repair of aboveground storage tanks, and will satisfy the minimum qualifications specified in API Standard 653, Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Reconstruction.
API TES – Tank Entry Supervisor
API certified TES Tank Entry Supervisors must know about above ground petroleum storage tanks and their construction. They will also have the knowledge to plan, prepare for and address potential hazards during the tank entry, ventilation and entire job process of tank cleaning and maintenance.
API 1169 – Pipeline Construction Inspector
This API 1169 – Pipeline Construction Inspector certification is open to qualified applicants who are seeking to become certified inspectors in API-1169: Recommended Practice for Basic Inspection Requirements – New Pipeline Construction.
API 1184 – Pipeline Facility Construction Inspector
The API 1184 Pipeline Facility Construction Inspector certification program was developed in cooperation with industry experts to establish an industry-wide credential for the inspection of pipeline facilities construction.
